Our story begins on the soccer fields of Nike Park, where a group of parents initiated casual conversations around how to bring additional outdoor activity to the community of Isle of Wight County (IoW). Discussions quickly transpired into a creative, well aligned proposal for the development of a specialty bike complex within Nike Park. This new project will be a focal point for biking enthusiasts from novice to expert, and will encourage participation from athletes across the entire age spectrum.
 

We are proud to announce that on August 18, 2022, the IoW Board of Supervisors agreed that the vision of a specialty bike complex aligns with IoW’s Parks and Recreation master development plan and their vision to grow our community. This endeavor will highlight IOW as the first bike complex in the Commonwealth to have mountain bike trails, a skate park, pump track, and a BMX track!
